Green Psychology is becoming popular in America because it ties into
the greater concern people have for our environment.
Green Psychology helps people do 5 things:
Learn how to wisely use your personal energy. We each have only so much energy. Why waste it fighting with other people, or trying to control people, or being controlled? There is a better way to use your energy and Green Psychology helps you identify how to do so.
Learn how to create an emotional footprint that you are proud of, that contributes to your healthy self-esteem. We each create an emotional footprint in our relationships, it is what we leave behind after every interaction with other people. Green Psychology provides tools that will allow you to leave behind an emotional footprint you feel good about.
Learn how to renew yourself, to generate enthusiasm and enjoyment in your life. Self-renewal comes as a result of identifying your deeply held values and then living your life according to thos values. Green Psychology provides a process to help you live according to your values.
Learn to respect people’s differences so that your life has less conflict, less tension, and more grace.
During this introductory workshop we will introduce you to the basic concepts of Green Psychology and you will have a chance to go through a series of exercises to better understand how it can assist you in your life.
